This is an example of Quest for AHQ3.0: the conversion of a Quest originally created for the base game Advanced Heroquesto, into a quest for AHQ3.0. Basically, to convert existing quests (and to create new ones) the starting point is the creation of a new (or many, connected) Objective Card: this card determinates how the Dungeons is built, which are the new Cards to be introduced by the Quest, the new enemies to face etc. In the case in which the Quest has an history on which it's based, is good to attach a short introduction text for the Quest itself, namely a Quest Book.

THE BROKEN AMULET

This is a Quest in different "chapters", representing a sort of mini-Campaign based on Skaven monsters: the most appropriate way to add this quest in the game Campaign is to add the different Quest Cards to the Objective Cards Deck of the Campaign, so that the Heroes have to find the places of the quest during their travels, discovering the different "chapters" of the Quest (playable in any order); alternatively the game group can decide to play all the cards of the Quest one after the other.

Quest Book

The Skaven of the region are gaining new power thanks to the presence of a Skaven Necromancers Cult able to strenghten the ratmen warbands with powerful undeads. This cult gains its power from a mysterious source of energy: it's the tomb of an ancient Skaven necromancer, Praznagar, hidden magically from the eyes of the commoners.

The Heroes discover the existence of the Jasaffa Amulet: the Ogre shaman able to beat Praznagar the necromancer in a bloody war between orcs and skaven more than five centuries ago. Jasaffa closed Praznagar in a magical prison hidden in the ice heart of the near mountains, accessible only with the use of the enchanted Jasaffa Amulet. Seems that the Skavens found the tomb of Jasaffa and the Amulet, being able to summon the Pranzar prison and release its power.

The task of the Heroes is to find the Amulet among different Skaven tribes places of interest, discovering that it has been shattered in four parts: combining the different parts they will be able to perform the ritual created by Jasaffa to summon a magical access to the Praznagar prison, to put an end to its existence.

This Quest introduces new cards, new tilesets, powerful monsters, new encounters and many other: it shows all the potential represented by an expansion based on a Quest and indicates how you should proceed creating new adventures. This is a rather complex quest: for the introduction of new quests, they can be created with the realization of much simpler cards, with a smaller amount of extra content. The main difference between a Quest and an Objective Card is the presence of an history, and the extra content added.

Here are the new cards and the new material introduced by the Broken Amulet quest:
